Jharkhand Travel Guidelines

• RANCHI: The Ranchi district administration and authorities at the Birsa Munda International Airport have decided to intensify screening of travellers entering Jharkhand from other parts of the country. The authorities to start mandatory testing of every passenger from all parts of the country.

• Health Screening:
• It is mandatory for all passengers to register on www.jharkhandtravel.nic.in before arrival and undergo a 7 day home quarantine
• All transit passengers & passengers exiting Jharkhand within 72 hours of their arrival are exempted from home quarantine
• It is mandatory for passengers arriving from ANY state to carry a RT-PCR/TRUENAT negative report from ICMR approved lab not earlier than 72 hours.
• RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
• Failing which Passengers will be subject to RT-PCR test (free of cost) & fill up self-declaration form.

• Passenger obligation
• Passengers seeking quarantine exemption shall be required to provide confirmed return/onward journey ticket within 72 hours of arrival.
• Every person coming to / returning from Jharkhand by Rail / Road / Air shall register his / her personal details on the website of Government of Jharkhand preferably before his / her departure for Jharkhand & not later than on the day of arrival in Jharkhand.
